The new YouGenio World plan from Globality Health is given eight star rating.
The new individual plan, YouGenio World, from Globality Health has been awarded an outstanding rating of 8 out of 10 by Health Insurance & Protection Magazine (HI Magazine).
YouGenio World replaces the previous YouGenio plan. YouGenio World offers four different levels of cover and a low cost version, called Essential.
Carefully designed in response to brokers, and expatriates, the eight star rating reflects the flexibility of the new Essential plan, the improvements to existing plans and the wide range of benefits available.
In addition to the basic Essential plan there are three other levels, Classic, Plus and Top, which offer increasing levels of cover. For example, Top covers dental treatment, over-the-counter drugs, and covers full out-patient care.
The independent analysis by HI Magazine emphasises the prominence of the Munich Re brand. As the centre for all expatriate cover for the group, Globality Health offers brokers and clients the strength of one of the world’s leading insurers.
By adding the Essential plan, a low-cost option, Globality have opened up the YouGenio plan to an even wider market. Essential covers in-patient treatment (excluding maternity or newborn care), cancer treatment, bone marrow and organ transplants (upto $100,000), and pre-existing conditions.
Andy Couchman from HI Magazine said, “Essential still offers good benefits, although not as many as the more higher priced plans. And although most out-patient treatment is excluded on Essential, it does still cover cancer treatment, which will be important for many people.”
