Cigna has announced the launch of its new broker comparison tool.
International health insurance brokers now have another tool at their disposal to help build and compare quotes for their clients. Cigna Global has launched its new, online, Broker Quote Tool, developed in partnership with brokers themselves.
The tool allows users to:
- Compare up to three side-by-side quotes simultaneously
- Generate indicative quotes with only the essential information needed
- Use the tool without log-ins, each broker has their own unique URL link
- Email quotes from the tool directly to clients in a professional quote package including the contact information of the broker
- Save and retrieve quotes
This new addition is the latest in new features from Cigna, which is aiming to become brokers’ carrier of choice.
Phil Austin, head of global individual PMI said, “We spent time listening to what brokers need when building quotes for clients. The focus has been on developing a tool that is as quick and easy to use as possible, whilst still providing really useful functionality which improves the broker / client journey. I truly believe this tool will be a great asset for international health insurance brokers.”
In a big week for Cigna, they also reported strong second quarter results. Revenues reflected an 8% growth in premiums and and fees in Global Health Care. The 13% increase in profits topped Wall Street expectations, according to an Associated Press report.
The Broker Quote Tool is available now for all registered Cigna Global Brokers.
