The Ingle Group has announced the opening of a new office in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This will be a welcome addition to the Group’s recent expansion into Chile and Argentina.
The South American offices will run alongside Ingle International’s existing operations in Canada, the US, and Mexico in the Americas, as well as France, Germany, the UK, and Malta in Europe. Ingle International has been providing international insurance options to travellers, students, and expats for nearly 60 years.
Ingle International’s expansion into Latin and South America comes at a time when the region’s growth is fueling demand for these types of insurance product. With a new office in Brazil Ingle can target the growing Brazilian middle class who are increasingly travelling abroad.
“In the last couple of decades, Brazil has experienced economic and social changes that translate into having a stronger and larger middle class today,” explains Business Development Manager (Brazil), Daniela Barakat.
“Ingle International…sees the potential of providing Brazilians with choices that meet their travel needs by offering our high-quality assistance and travel insurance.”
Ingle’s Brazilian operations will focus on the international student market initially, where they hope strengthening local partnerships will boost new business.
“Schools and universities have different needs than businesses or other organizations. Having Ingle offices in a student’s home country and in the country where they choose to pursue their overseas studies is a real advantage,” says Robin Ingle, chairman of Ingle International
Ingle will also be expanding medical provider networks in the region through its travel assistance company Intrepid 24/7, improving emergency assistance for international travellers in South America.
